WE’RE EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE THE RESTOCK OF OUR ENTIRE LOOSE-LEAF TEA COLLECTION—JUST IN TIME FOR THE ZINDA FESTIVAL!

DJA-WONMURUK ("YES TEA!") WILL BE PART OF THE ZINDA FESTIVAL 2024—A CELEBRATION OF CULTURE, CREATIVITY, AND COMMUNITY THAT UNITES BENDIGO’S DIVERSE VOICES THROUGH ART, FOOD, AND PERFORMANCE.

Come visit us at the festival to experience our hand-blended loose-leaf teas, sourced from ABORIGINAL, AUSTRALIAN and CERTIFIED ORGANIC growers. Each blend tells a story of connection to Country, using native herbs and bush tucker ingredients that celebrate the richness of DJA DJA WURRUNG COUNTRY. On October 12, join us at the Garden for the Future in White Hills for a day filled with culture, food, and of course, our handcrafted blends. BENDIGO’S LARGEST MULTICULTURAL CELEBRATION WILL TAKE PLACE FROM 11 AM - 5 PM ON OCTOBER 12 AT THE GARDEN FOR THE FUTURE.

It’s the perfect opportunity to explore a range of cultural experiences, music, dance, and art while enjoying delicious food from local food trucks. we’ll be there with our entire range of loose-leaf teas, so be sure to stop by our stall!

Taking place in the heart of Dja Dja Wurrung and Taungurung Country, ZINDA is all about bringing communities together, and we couldn’t be more excited to share our passion for tea and cultural connection with everyone attending. In addition to the exciting performances and food offerings, don’t miss the chance to discover our handcrafted teas. Each blend is made from a mix of native bush tucker ingredients and organic herbs sourced from Aboriginal farmers, reflecting our commitment to cultural sustainability and health.

STRESS LESS ABOUT PARKING FEES

Thanks to the festival partnership with the City of Greater Bendigo and Strathfieldsaye Lions Club, festival attendees will have access to free parking just 150m from the festival grounds. To make things even easier, Zinda's friendly volunteers will be on hand to guide you to a parking space and ensure a smooth arrival.

For those traveling with mobility concerns, accessible parking spots will be available closer to the event entrance. We want to make sure everyone can enjoy the festival comfortably, so don’t hesitate to ask our volunteers for assistance.

WHERE TO PARK:

Head to the corner of Kennewell St and Hamelin St in White Hills (GPS coordinates: 36°43’26.8″S 144°18’16.8″E). From there, it’s just a short stroll over the bridge to join the festivities.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

IF YOU PREFER NOT TO DRIVE, PUBLIC TRANSPORT OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE.

Catch the V/Line train from Melbourne, Echuca, or Swan Hill, and then hop on the 5 Huntly-Kangaroo Flat bus, which stops near the Garden for the Future. Be sure to check the latest timetables to plan your trip.

 

TIPS FOR A DEADLY DAY:

  • ARRIVE EARLY to secure a parking spot and enjoy the full festival program. Gates open at 11 am, and there will be plenty to see and do throughout the day.
  • BRING SUN PROTECTION and stay hydrated. With food trucks and refreshments available, you can enjoy the day without a worry.
  • BRING YOUR CURIOSITY—the festival is a fantastic opportunity to learn more about multiculturalism, Indigenous culture, and sustainable business practices.
