TEA & FASHION IN THE SPOTLIGHT
On October 13th, just before Melbourne Fashion Week, our signature loose leaf tea blends joined the world of fashion at the sold-out Women Connect Networking Luncheon in Bendigo. Held at the Jockey Club, Silks Function Centre, this vibrant event brought together over 100 inspiring women to celebrate creativity, connection, and professional development.
A CELEBRATION OF WOMEN IN BUSINESS AND CREATIVE INDUSTRIES
The luncheons' keynote speaker, Lisa Gorman, fashion designer and Founder of the iconic Gorman Clothing, shared her journey of establishing one of Australia's most recognisable fashion brands.
Her insights into entrepreneurship, creativity, and leadership inspired women to connect, break barriers, and pursue their dreams. Her reflections resonated deeply with us at Dja-Wonmuruk, as her story mirrors our values: staying true to one’s roots, mirroring our commitment to authenticity, connection, and uplifting others through every cup of tea.
LIKE LISA’S BOLD AND VIBRANT DESIGNS, OUR TEAS ARE HANDCRAFTED WITH CARE AND CREATIVITY—TO INSPIRE, UPLIFT, AND CONNECT.
The Women Connect Networking Luncheon was more than just an event; it was a celebration of women’s achievements and a powerful reminder of the strength found in community. Through connection, mentorship, and collaboration, attendees were inspired to break barriers and pursue their dreams.
OUR ROLE
We were honored to provide our signature loose-leaf teas as exclusive gifts for all attendees, alongside delectable treats from Bendigo Brittle and Etch Sparkling. Seeing our blends celebrated in such a creative and empowering space was a proud moment for us, reinforcing our commitment to crafting teas that inspire and connect.
A GRATEFUL HEART
Our deepest dumarr (thanks) to Be Bendigo for hosting and Eve Digital for organising this collaborative and memorable moment, making this partnership possible. Special thanks all attendees for beautifully capturing the essence of the 2024 Women's Connect Luncheon.
Such gatherings are vital for fostering a supportive community where women can collaborate, mentor each other, and access resources that aid in personal and professional development.
Lisa Gorman's story served as an inspiration to all attendees, highlighting the infinite possibilities for women in business and creative industries.
