Wawa, I'm Sharlee.
This is my Giyakiki Wonmuruk:
Tea. It is more than just a drink. For me, it is a way to connect and murrun dhelk: to live in good health. Sometimes it's breakfast, lunch and dinner, for when I'm feeling a little under the weather, or when I'm need of a pick-me-up. I strongly consider myself a lifelong learner and like many people, love drinking tea. I can remember enjoying wonmuruk (tea) with family and friends, being surrounded by the sounds and smells of djaara djaa-ndak-i (Dja Dja Wurrung Country) and since developing a love for Country since a young age.
I dedicate this business to honour Dja Dja Wurrung people who share their unceded Country and stories with people from many other places.
"I want to be able to preserve the traditional knowledge of bush tucker handed to me by elders in my community - djuwima djandaki: to show the benefits of our Country and share it with you."
