OCTOBER IS A SPECIAL MONTH FOR US AS WE CELEBRATE INDIGENOUS BUSINESS MONTH (IBM), A TIME DEDICATED TO RECOGNISING AND HONOURING THE ACHIEVEMENTS OF ABORIGINAL AND TORRES STRAIT ISLANDER ENTREPRENEURS.
THIS YEAR MARKS THE 10TH ANNIVERSARY OF IBM, AND WE ARE EXCITED TO BE PART OF THIS IMPORTANT CELEBRATION.
Since its establishment in 2015, Indigenous Business Month is an annual celebration that occurs every October, and 2024 marks its 10th year. This year, Indigenous Business Month celebrates a decade of showcasing the talent and depth of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander entrepreneurs from diverse business sectors. The theme for IBM 2024 is Making Our Mark, encouraging everyone to recognize and celebrate our collective achievements in business and leadership.
IBM aims to ignite conversations about Indigenous business and encourage and foster relationships and connections. It invites Indigenous businesses and supporters to celebrate through events across the country and online, showcasing the strength, breadth, and diversity of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander businesses.
