WE ACKNOWLEDGE THE TRADITIONAL CUSTODIANS OF THE LAND, THE DJA DJA WURRUNG AND TAUNGURUNG PEOPLES, ON WHICH WE LIVE AND WORK AND PAY OUR RESPECTS TO THE ELDERS BOTH PAST AND PRESENT. WE HONOR, RESPECT AND CELEBRATE THE SPIRITUAL, CULTURAL AND CUSTOMARY CONNECTIONS OF TRADITIONAL OWNERS TO COUNTRY. WE RESPECT AND CELEBRATE THE BIODIVERSITY THAT FORMS PART OF THAT COUNTRY.

      Giyakiki | Our story

Dja-Wonmuruk is an organic herbal loose leaf tea company handmade by Sharlee Dunolly-Lee on Dja Dja Wurrung Country in Victoria, Australia.  Sharlee is a proud Dja Dja Wurrung woman and entrepreneur who has a passion for learning and creating food with indigenous ingredients.  Mentored by elders and her community to gain knowledge on bush tucker foods in 2019, “Yes Teas” was conceptualised and soon proudly translated to Dja Dja Wurrung language and registered in 2020.  Dja-Wonmuruk officially launched at the Harcourt Apple Fest in March 2020, with the official website launching in August 2020.

Widely acclaimed for its health benefits, our Wonmuruk is highly recommended as a delightful cleansing tea. We also consider the social, ethical and environmental impacts of our supply chain. This means we are beginning to make environmental sustainability considerations to our procurement process.

      • Our Wonmuruk contains organic-certified Green and Black Tea.

      • We proudly source ingredients from Indigenous growers & harvesters where the benefit flows back to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

      • All of our ingredients are grown naturally with a commitment to environmental management. For example: tender young leaves are hand-picked at the optimum time to produce a tea, delicate in flavour and sweet in aroma.
